Australia's Culinary Excellence to Shine at IKA/Culinary Olympics 2024

The Australian Culinary Federation proudly announces the participation of two exceptional teams, a youth team and a senior team, in the upcoming IKA/Culinary Olympics, to be held at the Messe Stuttgart Exhibition Centre in Germany from February 2nd to 7th 2024. Notably, Australia's youth squad, currently ranked 7th in the world, is poised to demonstrate their culinary skills and teamwork.

The IKA/Culinary Olympics, renowned as the world's largest and oldest culinary art exhibition, is set to welcome approximately 1800 participants from 67 nations. With an expected attendance of around 100,000 visitors from across the globe, this event promises to be an unforgettable culinary showcase.

Throughout the competition, an impressive 8,000 menus will be expertly crafted by chefs and culinary teams from around the world, fostering an atmosphere of creativity and collaboration.

Karen Doyle, President of the Australian Culinary Federation, expressed her pride in the dedication and commitment shown by the teams, stating, "I am immensely proud of the dedication and commitment displayed by our youth and senior teams. Their passion for the profession is truly inspiring, and it's an honour to witness them represent Australia on the global stage."
